Hi, I bought and installed a new product, KWorld TV Tuner expert - pvr tv. It will only find 4 channels and there is no sound! Ive tried a tv from the same cable socket and it works fine. The cable I'm using is about 7 meters long as the pc is in a different corner from the socket. Anyone got any ideas? Thanks

I turned on my laptop this morning and it looks like my screen size has shrunk. There are two black bars to both the left and write of my screen and I need to know how to stretch it back out. I have tried looking in display options but am afraid I am looking in the wrong place.

I thought it was just the headphones i was useing, so I got a new pair.... no help... then I assumed next it was a worn jack... i had been using the one in the back... still completely fuzzy... so I triued the one in the front... same story. Its all sound, all volume, all sources, from youtube, to my music, to anything i put in CD wise. Both jacks, and two pairs of headphones.
I think therefore its my soundcard.... so.... does anyone have a good patch?

Okay there are some private files on my computer( SS NUM, Cell Info, account numbers ebay stuff etc.) How do I make sure these people dont get it. Or do new computer hardrives still store evrything you have been too. A guy I know says his computer worker found all the adult sites he had been too and said he was embarrassed as heck! Well he uses my computer when Im not home. ( housemate) I dont want these guys thinking Im a perv ( cuz Im not.)! what to do!

that was factory refurbished, came with a warranty, was everything I wanted in a printer, being an all-in-one, and the ability to print photos. The problem? I knew it would come with no ink cartridges, and ordered them thru Dell... but the biggest problem is....it DIDN'T come with instruction booklets, that show how to use it!! I have no idea how to even put the cartridges in, let alone how to scan, copy, fax, print... I have used other printers before, but not like this one. My question is: Does anyone know where I can get the instruction booklet for a Dell- A922?? I'm so anxious to make use of this, but have no idea what to do first. I'd really appreciate any and all the help I can get. Thanks in advance!

I was just wondering if it is possible to replace the graphics card on my notebook? I use a stock compaq v2000 besides some extra RAM I got for it a while back. 1.5gb of RAM. And if I can, [ since I'm pretty comfortable with opening up my laptop ] does anyone have a link that shows how exactly you install the graphics card?

Reason why I want to install Graphics Card - Everything on this computer is great, I've been using it for most of my work, alot of graphics work since I do Photoshop work alot. And every once in a while play some games. Alot of these games run nicely on my computer, but through compatibility tests I've found that my current graphics card is below average. So, I've been wanting to replace the current graphics card it has right now.

I want to buy a PNY Geforce 8800 GTX and it says as part of its specifications that I need a power supply with a 12V/30A.

I would prefer a 600W+ powersupply that gives me 12V/30A but any help is appreciated.

I have a 3.5 IDE hard drive which is has windows XP on and all my programs and music etc are on a SATA drive which is plugged into the motherboard. If I unplug the SATA drive and reinstall windows on my IDE will I be able to plug my SATA drive straight back in and still have all my music etc. I know the programs will have to be reinstalled its just music and photos and videos I am concerned about.

Ok, heres the deal. I bought a webcam off ebay and the package finally arrives with the driver disc shattered. I have spent the last hour and a half trying to find the drivers for my webcam. Heres the deal, I cannot find the manufacture anywhere (its a generic webcam) and I cannot install the driver on my own.

All that it says is CIF single chip..... now please only answer if you know EXACTLY how to either install the driver or how to get my webcam working another way.

this is since i done a pc recovery by mistake, i'm just learning . also i receive no sound since this even tho i have done a speaker test and they are fine. but the knob on my keyboard won't let me increase, decrease or mute. i have hp mircosoft media centre....any other tips would be great

i want to know how to reformat it. the model number is pcg-161L. i dont know what to do because there is no cd drive or disk drive built in because its one of those really small laptops.

everytime i start it up and get to the desktop, it is so extremely slow and when i end up clicking on anything, it doesnt open and i get stuck so i have to always restart it.

so i have a question about my computer. i dont know why but everytime i go on it it shuts down after every 30 min. it is geting on my last and only nerve! what can i do to stop this, i do have a "service plane" for it but i have had this computer for 4 years or 3 i dont really remember when i got it. is so weird because they were suing the Toshiba company and i did not join because then cause my computer was doing good but all last month and this it has gone bad. and yes i clean it i have window washer and all the other crap.so can i still get it fixed or do i have to pay mor and also this computer was coast alot so its no cheep ****.

High end games?
here is my choice of 2 machines:

AMD Athlon 64 3500+ 2.2GHz

or

AMD Athlon 64 X2 3800(Dual-Core) 2GHz

Now as I understand it, the dual core means there are 2 1.9 ghz cpus in the chip. How is that faster than 1.9 ghz?

I am so confused.
