We Went And Bought A Nvidia GeForce 7300 GS Video Card 256MB Memory And When We Hooked It Up And Installed It, Every Video Detail Page Said 512 MB like dxdiag.exe the system info even says 512mb... is something confused or did we get a better video card by mistake...

The 7300GS has something called HyperMemory, which borrows some system memory and uses it as video memory. So that card has 256Mb on it, and it is borrowing another 256 from the main system memory, which gives you the total fo 512Mb.
