even if i unplug all the desktop speakers the crackle will also come through on the monitor speaker even if i turn its volume off.how can this be! What can this be?

My dell PC only has a slot for one hard drive and I need to upgrade it to a larger one. I do have a WD External hooked up via firewire that I can back up the 20gb internal on. Does anybody now how to swap the two internals out without losing any data by using the external?

I have installed the latest version of Nokia PC Suite in my computer. I got the message that for the cable to work i have to download service pack 1 for windows xp. When i connect the cable to my phone, it shows me that data enhancement has been connected. However when i connect it to my computer it doesnt work. What is wrong?

I got vista premium, The aero glass theme did not install. Im guessing it is because my computers score is not high enough. I have the appropriate video card. My memory is well over reccommended and my processor is to.
Can you tell me how to force aero on? Or can you tell me where I can get the aero glass theme/skin? Thanks

Hi. I ordered a widescreen for my wifes computer. Does windows XP have all the neccessary settings for this to work properly? Is there any forseen problems with this?
How do the wide screens fit a webpage, is it stretched? Anything else you can tell a widescreen newbie? Thanks in advance.

Oh yeah, its an acer widescreen and a sony vaio PCV-RS510 with onboard Intel 82865 G Graphics.

I have an XPS 400. There is an instruction on how to connect my mobile phone to my PC, that requires control panel, then printers and other hardware, then bluetooth devices. But the bluetooth devices isn't available in printers and other hardware. Does that mean I don't have bluetooth? PC is one year old.

My monitor just gave out. Was working fine, before going to black. It will turn on for a split second before shutting off again. The same thing happened to my tower and it was the power supply, could it be the same thing for my monitor?

I'm trying to take these speakers apart so I can clean the inside (I hear static as I turn the volume up or down) I got the screw out (only one)... does it just pry apart?

The way I see it, a virus can only reside on the hard drive. So, replacing it and using a system restore disk should solve the problem, right?
