An AMD X2 represents old technology that has passed its time (this is why AMD will be releasing new desktop parts at the end of 2007 - optimistically). This was similar to the Pentium 4 chips in 2005 - processors that have exceeded their shining moment.
Currently the Core 2 Duo is the best line of desktop, mobile, and server processors that you can buy. They have better outright performance than their competition, are available at lower cost per performance and take less electricity per performance than their competition. AMD really was surprised by Core 2 (as were most enthusiasts) and don't have an answer at least until the end of the year (Q3 possibly for servers). Note that Intel's Penryn (45nm shrink of Core 2 Duo that actually takes MUCH less power than even Core 2 Duo) is due out at the end of the year as well.
The price for the core 2 duo is not expensive. Check this out...AMD 5000 is currently $279. A Core 2 Duo 6400 (which performs at about the same level and uses less electricity) sells for $217. Although the 6700 and 6800 chips are more expensive, that's due to AMD not having a comparable system (actually...the 4x4 AMD system barely keeps up with the 6800, but costs $400 more).

Its impossible to compare by specs alone. For one thing the Intel uses a front side bus, while the AMD uses a HyperTransport. The only way to really compare is by benchmarks, and the Core 2 Duo is winning fairly consistently over the X2s.

twin middle is the processor which change into man made after Pentium 4 processors. First twin middle processors were produced after that middle 2 Duo processors were produced. So middle 2 Duo processors can carry out more effective than twin middle processors. twin middle & middle 2 Duo processors have 2 cores contained in the processor. So the middle 2 Duo processor is acceptable for u. So bye it.
