MacBook Pro is as fast or faster than any PC and runs both Windows and Mac operating system. Plus the quality of the computer and its customer support was rated as the best by Consumer Reports. Also, a PC using writer said that to upgrade a PC to what MacBook Pros already have would make the PC more expensive.

Most Definitely the Black MacBook from Apple. For $1,500 you get a laptop that is faster than most desktop PC's and runs both Mac OS X and Windows XP and Vista (and hell, even Linux). 120GB Hard Drive, and 1GB RAM.

Get a Mac! I bought an iBook G4 a little over a year ago and I love it. I had a PC before that, and I am never going to buy another PC again...too many problems! Go to Apple's website and see what they have.

overstock.com

You can get one here with low shipping costs. Try to get as much memory (ram), hard drive space, DVD (read/write) and Pentium M or equivalent and higher.

The ones on here will be less than 1300. You can upgrade the ram.
