Any ideas?

I assume the printer does the test page ok. If not, the printer itself is faulty, or totally out of ink (or plugged).

If the test page, or other documents print ok, then blank pages are the result of "form feeds" in the document. These can come from a number of reasons.

I would send the document to someone else and see if they can print it ok. If so, you should uninstall your printer from Windows, and set it up again.

You just have to logically keep "breaking the problem in half" until you resolve where the issue really originates.

And lastly, Windows may have "associated" the wrong program with the file type. Save the file to the Desktop, and open it. I bet it won't. Do a right click on the file, and choose the program to use to open the file. When you get one to work, choose always use this program.

I cannot print an attachment from my email. I have a HP 8600 printer prints other documents, but when I receive a fax, I cannot print it. Can someone help me with this problem?

can you print other things? try printing a word document or a website with a lot of text. if that doesn't work, you know it is your printer. if it does work, there is something going on with attachments. check your computer for viruses. i have never heard of this happening and am not quite sure what could cause it. if all else fails, try calling microsoft or your computer manufacturer. good luck!
