Macs... especially since Bill Gates created and modelled Windows (which nearly every PC operates on) after touring a Macintosh factory. Windows is far less user-friendly. Macintosh systems are more intuitive so that even my 82-year old grandmother has few problems learning how to use one. By the way, I currenty use a PC which I have used for 13 years now... I can't wait until my computer goes on the frist so I can get my mac.
The main problem right now with Macs is that the variety of software available is much less. Eventually, that will change.

Ok, this argument could go on for ages. I'm not kidding. It's really your opinion. I think Macs are better, because there are no viruses made for them, just PC's. Macs go through a 10 minute virus scan while often finding nothing wrong, it's better than risking a new computer loading it with crap to fix the problem, but then destroying it. Mac's are user friendly, and are over all less expenxive than the average PC. Mac's come with Photoshop CS2, and an amazing Photobooth, that you will enjoy. It has a built in webcam, mic, and optional wireless keyboards and mice with high battery lives. People are just hard headed and because they DON'T have a Mac, and don't know how to use one, they think it sucks. PC's are the downfall of society. Save some money, get a MAC! =D

PC no questins asked. When people ask this question they realy refer to operating systems not pc vs mac. The thing with apple is that they control the hardware. There are only so many combinations of macs you can have. Thats why they work so well. A PC is different in that the operating system must take care of all the different possible hardware combinatis there is. So, thats why sometimes thee is trouble. Also, windows is a troublesome OS. However, the newer windows (XP andon) are very stable. If you don't like windows, there is always linux or unix.

Another thing to take notes of is the software availability. Everything runs on PC. Macs nt so much but this can change since Apple switche to the intel processor. Both computers are capable of doing the same things. internet, e-mails, spreadsheets, entertaiment. All the same. But with PC you have more options for a cheaper price. Not so much with Macs. Like some one put it one time. Mac is better designed and more stylish yet more expensive and can only drive in 5% of the road. PC not so stylish but can drive in 95% of the roads.

That is too complex of a question to answer here. I like pc because I can choose my own hardware and software is easy to get for it and I don't have to pay an arm and a leg for parts.
Mac is supposed to be better but I can't seem to find anything that they do that is so great and software is expensive and a pain to find. Macs are for snobby people who don't know about much and need an idiot computer. Like on Sex in the City. If those bimbos are using Macs what does that tell you? Macs are showy but no goey. Jobs always tries to introduce tired old ideas as new. Macs have crummy software and they do have viruses that attack Macs. This is a Mac lie. Try to get a new video or sound card for your Mac or update the components. It is served up to you the way Mac wants you to have it and when you need more you won't get it. Their software always sucks.

Depends on your purpose. In general, PCs are considered better for business software (Excel, Word, etc.) and Macs are considered better for graphics. Macs are also less virus prone and generally more stable (although Windows is getting better with each release). Also, part of this is dependent on the operating system - Windows vs. Linux is a whole other discussion, and both can be used on a PC (Mac has a Linux base already). Currently they both run on the same chip architecture, since Max switched over about a year ago, so no significant difference there. Some software is only availalbe for one or the other (ex. some games for PCs, iBand for Macs). And as far as ease of use, Mac again is generally better, but it may depend on what you are used to. Macs are also generally more expensive, so you really have to have a compelling reason or really love Macs to get one. All in all, it depends on your purpose and what you have used before.

That's pretty much personal opinion. I think that the Mac = artist/CAD/drawing and PC = everything else...is pretty much passe'. If that were true Autodesk AutoCAD would be Mac only. In fact there is no Mac version of AutoCAD.
I love doing graphic art and photo editing. I also do some CAD stuff...drawing model airplane plans. ..and I do it all on a PC. I've never owned a Mac but was interested in them because of reported stability and the instability issues with Windows I was having to deal with...this was back in the days of Win98.

Each has its strengths and weaknesses. I own both, and I would say that the Mac is easier to use and far superior in the areas of music, art, graphics, and most anything multimedia-related. However, there are TWO big drawbacks to owning a Mac: number one is that the variety of software available for Macs out there is very small compared to that available for PCs, and number two, they aren't nearly as good for gaming as PCs.

If you want to do anything with graphics I would say a Mac but if you need the computer for anything else than graphics get a PC because a mac only lets u use their software and their hardware you are better off with a PC because it will do everything and is generically compatible with all software programs. Mac are only good for graphics and their software and if they don't have what you need you are sol. Take care Heather, get a PC

It depends on what your needs are. For creative designing(Music, Picture or Video editing), there is no computer better than a MAC. But for pure home purpose like games, education, and other, you would want to buy a PC.

MAC's are expensive but secure, but PC's are cheap but prone to more problems.

I personally like the new MAC's with Inter Processors, which lets you install Windows on your MAC (Even Vista) using a free program called BOOTCAMP.
HOPE THIS HELPS

You will NEVER get a true answer to this question. Mac users love Mac's. PC users love PC's. Just go out and try them both yourself.
