I have a dozen or so empty Epson ink cartridges. Where in the US can I get a good cash or refund value for them (as well as help the environment)?? Staples used to have this great promotion, $3 for every cartridge, but now it's limited to few original brands. These are NOT original cartridges.
A discount for new cartridges is probably not what I'm looking for, since I'm already getting these for $6 apiece.

I have a 4-track that I use to record our band, now I want to put it on my computer. There's probably a better, more expensive, high-quality way to do this, but I would think that playing it into the microphone port with an RC cable should introduce it as a sound source and then I could record it. Any advice? I'm on PC and I used to do this with my Mac.

I want to buy a laptop/notebook but I really do not want to spend more than $600 on one at this time. I mostly just use the computer for AOL and a photo program (for my digital camera)... No games or anything like that. For my price range, I've been looking at Everex (@ walmart), Compaq, Toshiba, and Acer. Which one would you all recommend?

My video card has DVI-I outputs and the monitor has DVI-D inputs. When they are connected the monitor displays a message indicating no source or connection. I thought DVI-I and DVI-D could be connected.

The motherboard is a Mach Speed Viper K8M8MS Socket 754. The first hard drive is a Seagate 250GB EIDE HD 7200/8MB/ATA-100, and the second hard drive is a Seagate 320GB Serial ATA HD 7200/16MB/SATA-3G.

I am fairly savvy with computers, but when I plug in the power and SATA cables to the power supply and motherboard, the BIOS simply doesn't pick up on the new SATA hard drive. It does stop at the black screen rather than boot up, but even a manual search does not turn up the drive. All suggestions are much appreciated. Thanks!

If I create a folder called "Personal" on the NTFS partition and assigns share permissions only to it, and assign exclusive full control to myself only. How is it that someone of my same group can log on to my computer and open the the Personal folder.

My lap top turns off if it is moved. What could be doing this. Is there a loose connection somewhere. If I keep it stationary on a table it works fine, but the second I move it, it shuts off.
