If I'm taking it on a plane and I want to play games or run the dvd
will that burn the power faster ? What's a good brand of Laptop
for this as well as light weight ?

Depends on the battery itself, too! I have an HP laptop. It can come with either a 6-cell or a 12-cell battery. The 12-cell of course lasts much longer. On my IBM laptop the battery life is about 1.5 hour. On my HP the battery life for the 6-cell is about 2.5 hours. For the 12-cell it is about 4 hours.

well if your playing games i say about a hour and a half but if your watching a movie probably about 2 hours. and Sony Vaio is the king of lightweight with good battery life but they cost alot more than usual computers
