Depends on your email reader. Some readers have a Save As option where you can just save the message somewhere. Others, you can drag the message from your inbox into a folder on your computer. Adn yet others, you'll need to copy and past the text into a file.

You could:
1) Go to File / Save As and save the email as a file on your computer.
2) Using your curosr, select the text you want to save. Copy it. Then open Word, notepad, etc and paste it. Then save it.

simplest method is...as mentioned above by some people is....to select the text portion in your email (which u want to save) by clicking your left mouse button from the starting point of your email and dragging it to the ending line of ur email.....then right click on the selected portion then click on copy button.....then open the notepad and paste the email there and save the notepad file.........
i find it simplest coz in this method u dont have to retype ur password for viewing ur mail again (password confirmation or rather internet connection is required for viewing mail if saved using "save as" option)

Depends on your e-mail system If it is one of the free ones like Yahoo, you can't. You have to highlight the text in the message, copy it, paste it in to text or word processing file, and then save that file.
Repost with the name of your e-mail program (if not Yahoo) and someone may be able to give you step by steps for that one.
