Umm... The Pentium 3 IS a processor. You can't put a processor into a processor...

You are going to have to clarify what you mean.

Are you asking if you can put a processor from a dell computer into another computer? If so then yes, but there are many different types of processors and sockets, and they do not all fit.

If the Dell was a Pentium 3 processor then you can most likely transfer it to the other computer if that too was a pentium 3.

HA! Little do they know, there are both SLOT 1 Pentium 3 processors, and SOCKET 370 Pentium 3 processors.. NOT INTERCHANGEABLE AT ALL. Also, the Pentium 3 was manufactured in many, many different configurations for both the slot 1 and socket 370 physical variants. Some interchange with no problem, some do not at ALL. A lot depends on what motherboard you are trying to use. I have seen a P3 crash and BURN from installing it in an incompatible motherboard, so use caution, at any rate.

well as the other person said, you would need to know the exact make and model of your pc's and the socket size, and what it can support processor wise.
if both machines are p3 then it should be ok, but you might need to alter jumper settings on the motherboard.

All would depend on the computers specs and motherboard, you would have to ask your computer manufacture.
