The motherboard is a Mach Speed Viper K8M8MS Socket 754. The first hard drive is a Seagate 250GB EIDE HD 7200/8MB/ATA-100, and the second hard drive is a Seagate 320GB Serial ATA HD 7200/16MB/SATA-3G.
I am fairly savvy with computers, but when I plug in the power and SATA cables to the power supply and motherboard, the BIOS simply doesn't pick up on the new SATA hard drive. It does stop at the black screen rather than boot up, but even a manual search does not turn up the drive. All suggestions are much appreciated. Thanks!
