i want a graphic card that is cheap(not very though )i wud say around 80 - 100 ? , reliable and works great with games like The sims 2 and Call of Duty 2 . I dont care if itz Ati or Nvidea as long as itz good . i am a gamer .

Can somebody please give me a list of computer parts that are compatiable. i am going to be using this computer for mainly school work and games but i dont really want it to be for games, but if i ever wanted to do that i would be able to. i want to have lots of ram in it but i am not sure about either intel or amd cpu and the other parts. so just give me a list, also i want it to be vista compatible with a diretx 10 card and have good video ram

While installing Windows XP Professional, I Formatted the drives and the drives were shown to be 132 GB instead of 200 GB each. After installing they are being shown as 127 GB. BIOS shows them as being 200 GB each. How can I configure them back to 200 GB each ?

I have a Acer aspire 5100 laptop,When I plug the Ethernet cable into the port it doesnt click into the lock position,and can be easily pulled out. I have tried diferent ethernet cables, and none of them lock into position.Is this normal on laptops ,if so is this to allow the cable to be pulled free if the laptop is inadvertantly moved, Or have I just got a faulty port/socket,even though the connection is good. please help.....

I would like to know Windows Vista needs over 1000MB of RAM (I think 1024mb) but can i run it with 512MB of RAM?

I've already sent questions on google answers if i can run vista and they said i could but i heard this is better so can i?

however it works just fine when i wnat to listen to music. But when i want to burn something music or even doing as simple as putting pictures onto the cd. It says that ther is no disk in that drive. I've done this before on my lap top, my desktop computer is acting the same way all of the sudden I just dont get it.

do i need to enable something? when i put everything to be burned i do the same routine to burn stuff onto the cd. when push burn or copy files to CD. this thing pops up saying that there is NO DISK IN THE DRIVE. GRRR Ive tried CD-R, CD-RW's DUAL layered ones. The drive doesnt detect any of them and they are new blanks straight out of the box. unless data is already on it.

I have a custom built pc. I was going to go on the internet, but my router configuration utility from netgear froze. I restarted my pc, and now, the adapter will not start. I tried uninstalling the device and the drivers and restarting the pc, and then reinstalling everything, but it will not start accoring to device manager error 10. I am so upset! I wanted to transfer my activation of adobe acrobat pro, so that I could reformat my hard drive, and then upgrade to vista, but this issue is keeping me from it! This is the first time that I have had this issue, and I am ready to pull my hair out! Thank you so much!

On my laptop there isn't a volume icon or anything. There isnt any sound coming from my laptop whatsoever...I looked my my control panel and there's nothing there that has to do with volume. Is there anything I can do to get it back. Or how bout a donwnload???

I've done all I can find to do. Getting 0x19 Bad_Pool_Header BSOD at random times. Usually when I exit out of a game. Have wiped it 3 times and even have a new hard drive now and I'm still getting the error. I have switched XP cd's, I have redownloaded the drivers.

2.0GHz Centrino, 1GB Ram, Nvidia 6800 Ultra, 80GB HD, and Windows XP w/SP2 and all the latest updates as of this morning.

every time i try to open the demo it says "please verify system meets minimum specifications" but i checked everything. i have just short of 20GB of hard drive space, 512MB of RAM, which is exactly the min requirement, my processor is over the 1.8GHz requirement, and i have 128MB of VRAM which is the min. i also have the service pack 2.
It also says
"with DirectX 9 Vertex Shader / Pixel Shader 2.0 support (Nvidia 6800 or better)"
i have DirectX9.0 but i am not sure about the other stuff. how do i check if i have them, and where can i get them if i dont.
