do you have xp sp2, before i had sp2 my xp only saw my 250 gb drive as 132 gb. I had to use another copy of xp to partition the drive to full amount, then use my copy to install windows, it seems you need sp2 to partition larger than 132 gb, once online i downloaded sp2, hope this helps
