My monitor plugs are different that my video card plugs? Do I need a special monitor or did I buy the wrong video card? I have the BFG 6600 GTOC... (AGP Version)

Just get a DVI to VGA adapter from your local store and you will be using your VGA monitor in minutes!

Some new monitors only have the newest plugs like DVI and not the older VGA plugs. There are adapters you can buy so go to your favorite supplier and search for them - a lot cheaper than buying a new card.

You are probably Refering to your DVI plugs. Cards usually come with DVI-to-VGA Adapters, but if it didn't you need to get one and you can still use your card. Most Cards come with one of each port, but some have two DVI. The adapters are fairly cheap (a couple of bucks at any computer store) and you don't need to make any adjustments, just plug it in and it'll work.

There should be 2 adapters that came with that video card, just connect that and then use the plug from ur moniter. Thats what i have to do atm.
