Swap monitors on 2 computers to see if the problem is really the monitor.

Try the power button a few times, might be stuck. Some also have a power switch in the back.

Swap out power cords too!

Try all the menu options on the monitor, might be set to zero brightness.

Well, you would have to test it on another computer to make sure it is the monitor and not just that computer.

If the monitor does not work on either computer, then you either have a bad cable or a bad monitor. Try a new cable, if that doesn't work it is probably not worth taking the monitor in to get it fixed unless it is brand new.

If the monitor works on one computer but not the other, then there is something wrong with the computer. Try reseating all the devices inside the computer. If no luck, take it in to get it looked at.
