If you want to use your scanner to scan something to a PDF file, there is a nifty program available called scan-to-pdf... it is fairly inexpensive and it does have a trial version you can test with to see if you like the results... http://www.scantopdf.co.uk/

Do you mean SCAN with your anti-virus program?

Do you mean PRINT, then Scan it back in with your Scanner?

How about converting the PDF file to a Word Document or something? Try this.

You need a PDF writer. You scan it using an OCR program and save it as a PDF (I reccomend OmniPage). Or, save it as an image and paste it into Microsoft Word with no borders and no margins. Then, save the Word document as a PDF.

Usually you would have to have Adobe installed on the machine to create a PDF file.

I would go to Adobe's website to find out which of their programs allows you to scan to .pdf.
