Can you edit the registry, change options in the bios menu, anything to set it so it can't be disabled by another mouse. If it helps, I have a kensington wireless mouse three button. If you have an answer to this at all it will be helpful.

The card works, fine, I was using it last night, but it will no longer, for some reason readon my camera. It claims to be locked, but it is not, and it just flashes Memory Card error. I can't clean it off, and I really can't do anything with it. I have some important information on there and I would like to get it off, but nothing seems to be working.

Help?

And if I could get something better than

"Call customer support."

or be like my boyfriend with the classic,

"You broke it."

Thanks.

I have a P5N32-SLI Deluxe mobo with 1 gig memory. I put my computer into standby mode and when I tried to load it up, it just hangs. I'm running Windows XP 64-bit.

I've already tried to clear the CMOS and re-install my video card and memory. All it does is light up and sits there with no hard drive activity and I'm getting no keyboard response (USB keyboard). My DVD-Drive lights up but won't boot off of my Windows CD.

My grandmother has just told me that she is going to take me to get a replacement for my laptop (many things wrong with the old one, stemming from the fact that it was second hand). She is expecting me to know what to ask about, good brands, etc., but I know literally nothing about computers, not even what's good or bad as far as memory, hard drive space, capabilities, brand name, or anything! I'm in my second year of college studying to be a teacher. I don't play MMORPGs or any other computer games that have offline componants, and the internet is too slow at school to download much of anything, so that's not important to me. I know that I don't want a MAC. I am going to use this computer mainly for writing papers, going online, editing and storing my digital photographs, and listening to and burning CDs. Since someone else is buying this, I would like the cost to be as low as possible. Can someone tell me a range of what I need for memory, etc. and/or recommend a few products? Thx!

Mainly for school, but I will also be playing World of Warcraft on it. Not really into any other games. Ive decided to get a dedicated video card, but Im not sure which processer to go with. AMD 64 x2 or Intel core2 duo ?
Please be specific when answering why I should go with one or the other. Thanks.

I have a computer with 224 MB of RAM. I can do a lot of stuff, but lately I noticed that the recommended (and sometimes minimum) RAM are much more than what I have. Is there anyway that I can upgrade my RAM without having to buy a whole new computer?
