Alright i recently changed my hard drive on my computer it was a 20gig hd with windows 98 i have a 60gig seagate with windows pro i. i was playing a game on it and the computer froze could not contl alt delete so i held the power button down and it turned off. I rebooted it and the promt where it says your computer was improperly shut down continue or run windows in safe mode. any option and it restarts half way threw the windows loading screen suggestions?! if i put the old 20gig windows 98 back it it works fine but i rather/need to have windows pro help anyone?

There is probably an issue with the digital interface on the 60GB hard disk. It should be under warranty so just take it back to the store and get a new one.

Also make sure you are using the appropriate IDE cable. Should be a thin very fine wired IDE cable.
