You can get great, well equipped laptops with a wonderful OS and the best customer service at Apple.
Many larger cities now have Apple stores and you can always get them online. Also check out their refurbished computers, a better price with a new computer warranty.
Trust me, my son just bought one this past week.

You might want to check out the outlet sites of Dell and HP where you can buy refurbished units, Open Box returns and canceled order units at a significant discount.
