i reallly need to know if I should get this external hard drive asap... what was your experience with this brand? im looking for an external hard drive under 100$ that i can put ALL my music and videos from itunes onto it.

Many hard drives under $100 can hold over 200 gigs. Maxtor is a good company but for a mini drive you might not get as much space.

Go to dell's website, input your system serial number and it will tell you which accessories will match your system. You can also call their support number. A generic laptop harddrive should be fine, but double-check before you spend money.
