G'day there,

Whoever above said to reinstall windows is nuts. Reformatting should always be a last ditch effort.

First, you'll need to stop Windows from automatically restarting, at least so you can troubleshoot it.

1. From the desktop right click on My Computer.
2. Click the Properties option.
3. In the System Properties window click the Advanced tab.
4. In Advanced click the Settings button under Startup and Recovery.
5. In the Startup and Recovery window uncheck the Automatically restart check box.
6. Click Ok.

Now if the computer generates an error it should not automatically restart and enable you to display any errors your computer may be experiencing.

That doesn't mean it's completely fixed though, watch out for any errors, right them down, and submit them to a forum or someone knowledgeable. At least now you'll have time to read or write down the error.

Best of luck,
kyttie.

Sounds like to turned off your computer jsut y cutting the power. Which is wrong. u at least watn to do it by holding the power button down untill it cuts off. u probably messed up the windows program. U can try to use system restore if your computer has it.

windows has crashed, you have to reinstall windows or have somebody to do it for you, you can go to officedepot and get microsoft windows xp home edit. for about $199. If your computer is a older machine I would highly recommand that you just go and buy a new one through dell for about $400. be a lot cheaper and you get a 1 year support warranty!

Hope This Helped!

If your computer is not working properly while you are working on it, it could be a problem with device drivers, hardware or software.
