Mainly for school, but I will also be playing World of Warcraft on it. Not really into any other games. Ive decided to get a dedicated video card, but Im not sure which processer to go with. AMD 64 x2 or Intel core2 duo ?
Please be specific when answering why I should go with one or the other. Thanks.

You have to make sure that the processor is compatible with the motherboard. That may narrow your choice down, but if they are both compatible I would go with the Intel. Intel is very reliable, and I personally like it better than AMD.

Um, normally the Video adapter is integrated into the mainboard on a laptop.

The Intel Core 2 Duo may use less power than the AMD 64 x 2. but they both perform the same function using a dual core.

dont worry about the processor trust me ... get at least 1gig of ddr2 ram and the best dedicated graphics u can afford and u'll be happy. i would go with a core2duo just because .. and i think theyre alittle better on battery ... but for game performance its all in the graphics ...
