I have a NVIDIA GeForce2 MX 100/200 and need to upgrade this. To upgrade it would I have to buy an entire new driver or is it possible to download one? I know nothing of computer hardwares so any additional information would be really helpful. Thanks.

does it mean the speed of both cores or of each core giving a total of 4Ghz? And when it says just T5500 or something like that how can you find out the speed?

Dell 2400 Dimension starts then screen goes blank, help?
I have a Dell 2400 Dimension and I power up and see WindowsXP then a blank screen. I then tried F8 to go into safemode but the screen went blank again. Next I hit F1, it said dell did not start your PC for safety reasons and said a new software or hardware may have been added.

I don't have recovery disc, Dell won't help.... any idea's how to get to "System Restore".


ps: I don't care if I lose any files at this point, again I have NO DISC

okay i have a laptop (dell inspiron 1150) im going to give to my mom because im getting a macbook for christmas it works in every thing except i keep getting some so called blue screen of death. please help what do i do?

Im after a new cpu and mobo. However im having trouble picking one. I have owned a AMD, so i gravitate towards another one. However, for the same price of a amd I was lookign at, I have foudn a dual core intel. Anyway, if you have experience with these processors or are really good with this stuff, please let me know whats up.

1.AMD Athlon 64 3700+ San Diego 2.2GHz Socket 939 Processor Model ADA3700BNBOX ($90)
(L1 64+64) (L2 1MB)

2.Intel Pentium D 820 Smithfield 2.8GHz LGA 775 Processor Model BX80551PG2800FN ($100)
(L1 24+32) (L2 2x1MB)

Im ordering from newegg.com. If anyone can recomend one of these over the other and maybe offer some sort of benefits % wise that would be great. If you recomend another processor in the $100 range from newegg.com that would be great also.

I do alot of audio editing, encoding, video editing & encoding & capturing. No gaming really.

I was thinking of buying a new computer and I was wondering which kind of computer should I buy? a Dell or a Compaq. I asked someone who knew about computers and I asked him about a Dell and he laughed and said dont talk about Dells and then he smiled. I want to use Photoshop CS2 a lot? I want to get a laptop/notebook but I have no idea what to look for in one. I do a lot of image manipulation and would like to get into a bit of digital art using programs like Bryce and Poser. Can anyone tell me what sort of thing I would need in a laptop to make it perform well at these tasks?
PS I know a desktop would probably be better for this kind of thing but I spend a lot of time away from home so I need the portability of a notebook.

How long will un-opened ink for an hp printer last ?

will the ink stay good if it is 2, 3 or 4 years old and still un opened?

Ok, I got a new printer, well everything is hooked up and I need to print something off of word, well, the printer isnt working properly, it says its offline, and I checked to make sure that the cords were pugged in right, and it even printed the sheet for if u put in new ink cartrages, please someone help me out!

i have windows vista rtm the cpu usage is 100% all the time is there any way i can prevent this i have the requirments 1.8ghz,1gig ram,40gig hdd (im running it on a 40 gig hard drive to test it i have a 200gig one would that make a difference) thanks answers are greatly apreciated

Every time i try to stop the device, it s telling me try again later, i need to stop it before i take it out. The computer is telling me that the device is actually running (while i m not using it) and then to try again later!!! HEELLP!
