I was shutting down my laptop last night but it somehow went into hybernation so I couldn't turn it back on. How do I start it up again? Please help!

Hi,

Getting your machine out of hibernation mode should be the same as turning it on. What exactly happens when you press the power button? Nothing? Did you maybe put it in standby instead of hibernation and the battery is dead? Have you plugged it in with the adapter and tried powering on again?

when it goes into hybernation it is better to turn it off and restart it or it will continue to run really slow until you do. just another one of bill gates cute little bugs. :)

click on the start button > control panel > power management and set it to turn off instead of go into hybernation mode.

Take the battery out and unplug the flexibility, then carry down the flexibility button for variety of 10 seconds. Then positioned the battery back in, plug contained in the flexibility back, and attempt to commence it up.

press the turnon button again but hold it down till you see the light go to blue. what kind of laptop do you have? it usually goes into hibernation whenthe battery gets too low as well so make sure it's plugged in.

Gosh I just turn mine back on. Maybe you need to hold down the one button for 10 seconds to reset it.

You should be able just to push the start/on button and it will start up again where you left it rather than boot up.
