my recent computer is on the fritz, lol and i am considering purchasing an apple macbook, i have the link in case i am confusing you as to which one.. Anyways, I would love your opinions on the Macbook... Thank you so much I appreciate it! Ciao... p.s I am considering photography would this computer be the best for Photography.. I bought a mfc from brother and the system is giving an error code 41. They exchange the system for me and after a couple of months I got the same code again. When I called them, they told me they have no record of me having the machine replaced and that they can only go by the purchase day, which has passed the warranty. Now they want me to pay to fix the same problem that is a company glitch. I will not fix it, but want to purchase a new one but not a brother.

But the problem is my computer takes a long
time to start up and close down.
and sometime my computer will not start all.
then i have to turn it of and start it up again.
Will putting more ram on fixes this problem
or am i wasting my money,
is my computer on its way out ?
Should i be looking at a new computer insteed
what do you guys think ?

Question, how reliable is "Ultra Ram". And, is it compatible with my motherboard? I was reading somewhere that a person had trouble with "Ultra" Ram in his Asus motherboard. Just wondering if it was coincidental.

I recently changed out my dvd burner and I forgot I had left a dvd inside the old one. I don't want to have to reinstall it just to get the dvd out. I was going to try to stick a pen into the emergency door opener but I don't want to damage the burner. PLEASE HELP!

I have a Hauppauge TV tuner card in my media center pc. It has composite inputs ot the front, if i wanted to plug my PS2 into these, is there a way i can view it.
A simple progrom that views videos from input devices as well as audio would be nice.

Could anyone tell me a program that would do this?

i had a old AMD XP 2400 CPU, do they slow down as they get old? i mean it's been like 2 years old, it has nothing to do with the programs coz i formatted that old PC and it's still running slower than before, mostly the menus shows up too slow and freezes, slow when opening programs.

I bought an usuless printer from eBay auction.
I paid for the printer 20 bucks or so , and it did not come with
connector to plug into computer, and any software to use it.

Is there any way that I can do with it?
Where can I bring it for recycling?

*The printer is too old to get accesaries from the company.

I formated my 4GB USB Key in Windows XP (Don't ask why). After, everytime I tried opening it, it would ask me to format the disk, after trying to format, it would always fail. After trying different ways to get it formatted, including using my Mac. Now it lost it's partition, thinking that it was 128GB (Yes I said 128GB). I finally used my Mac to partition the drive, by making a 4GB partition and left the rest as free space. Now it says that it's a 64GB drive and it opens on XP. I'm in the process of trying to copy over 40GB worth of Data on to the USB Key to see what happens, so far it's still copying. Any ideas what happened, and why?

My PC, with a Intel 845 Brookdale Motherboard and a Pentium 4 Processor currently has 256 MB of RAM (PC133).
I have searched the makers site (Micron PC) and other sites from Google and Yahoo etc and am unable to find this PC's memory limit to what the motherboard will recognize.
Does anyone know from looking at the information I provided above? Thanks

I know about the degaussing button becuase ive used that a million times already! does anyone have any suggestions? maybe someone who works with T.v.'s or computers or someone who's smart when it come to this stuff? i read on a site to use a drill with a magnet stuck to it to like suck out the magnetic field and the people said it worked that tried it but im afraid...Thanks for you help if you have anything=)
