I bought a mfc from brother and the system is giving an error code 41. They exchange the system for me and after a couple of months I got the same code again. When I called them, they told me they have no record of me having the machine replaced and that they can only go by the purchase day, which has passed the warranty. Now they want me to pay to fix the same problem that is a company glitch. I will not fix it, but want to purchase a new one but not a brother.

What brother told me was that if the new printer was not working properly within a three month period after it was exchanged, then they would replace it. The three month period has not passed.

Brothers are pretty cheap. We still have a lot of HPs from ten years ago going strong.

it usually makes no difference whether a machine is replaced or not as the warranty relates to when the equipment is purchased and not when any replacement is given therefore I don't see how them having a record of the exchange would actually have made difference in the end.

We use samsung at work and have found this to be most reliable and we tried many. have had it for two years now and have never have had to have it serviced yet.
