Help.
I've just bought a comp.
it has NO PCI-E slot!!!

since it was orange, i thought it was PCI-E!!
i just found out it was AGP 3.0

Should i sell off my whole comp for that PCI-E?
or should i just stick to AGP and get the latest of it?

Well.. the thing is i'm a gamer... not a hardcore though..

Any advice?

I use a Dell Inspiron 1000 as a desktop/laptop, and it doesn't have very much on it. I just did a Disk Defragment last weekend, but even after that it doesn't seem to run any faster. I had to redo an Outline for my European History class last night, and it took me almost 2 hours to do 10 minutes worth of corrections! Also, does anyone have a cheap desktop alternative I could get, maybe something around the 300-500 dollar range? Thanks in advance

Besides deleting programs I don't use, is there another way like buying a bigger space disc drive, also what can I buy for my games and other stuff not to take so long to load and stop lagging?

how is the combination arrived at for a normal home pc say with a 2.4 ghz processor used for net surfing but no downloading, normal windows work. ordinary day to day work.

i know they exist, but i cant remember what they are called.

i need the divice thet plugs into the back of a computer and records key board activity.?

does anyone know what the divice is called, and even better, where i can get it?

My computer is suppose to have 256m RAM, but when I look at my system resources it says that I only have 239.6. How can i get the rest of my RAM to function? I am a dork and want to play the Sid Myers Pirates game but I can't do it due to my RAM shortage. I have defragmented to try to up my speed, and my disk cleanup doesn't work for some reason. Any help you can give will be much appreciated!

I flashed my BIOS using Winflash. My intention to was to upgrade to the most recent version. Winflash said the upgrade was successful. However, there is no disk activity upon re-boot. There is power just no disk activity. What can I do? Do I need professional help?

the paper is lined up correctly when it is fed it. The paper is good quality, and it seems to be jamming the same way every time....it starts to go in, then it goes in crooked, then stops...thanks for your help.

My Computer simply refuses to find the Audio Device.I re-installed
Windows XP Home edition.And still no FIX , I have An Intell Main board with Intergrated Sound And Ethernet devices . The sound drivers are ,Creative SB Live "WDM"
