if you need drivers go to the manufacturers website or driverguide and download them to your desktop and burn them to cd

You will need to get the audio drivers from your manufacturers web site you will need the model # of the computer.

What type of laptop? Do you have the brand/model number?
Dell? IBM?
That information will make answering this question easier.
Most major laptop manufacturers now have a 'auto-update' on their support site. You can try going to the website for whoever made your computer and see if they have this for your system. (Dell & IBM do for sure)
