Um i need info in adding HDDs when i have only one round cable they are connected to motherboard(1) 1 HDD(2) CD/DVD RW(3) and i want to add another 100 gig hdd but is it necessary to have one IDE pin cable to it?

So,u want to use 2HDD and a optical drive...u need two IDE cables for it unless the additional HDD is not using IDE(but SATA). Before u pplug in the HDD to the IDE cable,u need to decide wether the HDD is to be master or slave.master pin is at the end of the cable and make sure also the pin at the HDD itself configured to master.This is same if you want to make it slave.

buy a hard disc and a 3.5 inch cover for it with a USB 2.0 socket. that way you can connect a hard disc to your PC over an USB cable. You can also get them with firewire or both.
