I like the look and how lightweight and thin the Macbook is but I'm not sure if I will need the extra power from the Pro. I will be doing a lot of video editing on Adobe Premiere.

I recently have had a HP desktop and laptop get messed up so I am looking in to buy a new realiable computer that won't get have to be repaired all the time. What computer brands make good computers and realiable ones. In my opinion, I like Dell a little because they usually have no problems.

This computer has been sitting in my closet for two years because i haven't been to figure what's wrong with it. let's see if you can figure it out the computer turn's on but that's it after that it does nothing else i can't seem to find anything wrong with the hard drive, ram or the motherboard? i would really like to figure this problem out myself so if your answer is take it to a computer repair shop dont bother answering.

thanks to all in advance.

I have an intel 256 mb onboard VGA card. Im able to run a monitor to extend the desktop onto another monitor but i want to be able to close the lid to my laptop and have two monitors. I try to enable the second monitor but it doesnt show up as a monitor extended from my desktop? What do i do, I tryed advanced settings and that doesnt work. Im using a y splitter could this be the problem, can you not run duals on a laptop?

Ive heard you need 2 seperate VGA cards to run dual monitors, or does anyone now of a good monitor hub kind of like a switch but it allows you to run more than one monitor, got the link for me?

The printer won't print from the main computer, I unplugged it and connected it to my laptop, it is installed in the printer folder, but when I hit "print" it says that it is unable to connect to printer. Really need help, tech support here sucks! (non U.S. user)

My dad was trying to make the contrast higher on his computer monitor, but accidentally pressed the lower button. After that, we figured out that the button to make the contrast higher doesn't work. Now he's stuck with a monitor too dark to read. How can i change the contrast?

I begining to start building my first computer and I'm not sure what size power supply to use. It will be used for everything from homework to gaming. RIght now Im kind of planning on the following components:

GIGABYTE GA-965P-DQ6 motherboard
Intel Core 2 Duo E6600 Conroe 2.4GHz
Update Crucial Technology 2GB (2 x 1GB) DDR2 SDRAM
320 GB Seagate SATA HD (maybe 2)
BIOSTAR GeForce 7600GS 512MB GDDR2 PCI Express x16 Video Card

Will 500W be enough? What about if I add more cooling and overclock?
