If 98 behaves the same as XP you should have a 'my computer' icon on your desktop. With XP if you right click this icon with your mouse and select 'properties' by left clicking it, it gives a list of various things about your p.c. - among them is the processor speed (Mhz or Ghz depending on speed) and RAM size. Apologies if this doesn't work with 98 - it's been a while since I used it!

In Xp you right click on the task bar and get task manager and performance tells you how much memory you have and gives you CPU usage, etc. Try it in win 98 - I can't remember if you even have a task manager!

if you have windows xp you can go to control pael (located off your start meu) and double click the icon that says system. HOPE IT HELPS!!!!
