Flat Screen (LCD)
Pros- Flat screen take up less space, they conserve a hell of a lot engery, look cooler, safer, last longer, brighter picture
Cons- more expensive
Regular, aslo known as CRT(look like TV's) *CRT can also be flat screen*
Pros- much cheaper, have a sharper resolution
Cons- very big and bulky, ugly and old, use up a lot of engery, don't last as long, GLARE(however it is reduced on flat screen CRT's)

Flat screen has worked out best for me. The resolution on the screen shows better graphics and colors seem to be brighter. Also, the space issue. With less room taken up by the monitor, I can use the desk my monitor's on to put a drink & papers that I might be working with, or whatever I need at the moment.

flat screen is better reason why it looks more nice then the old big type monitor and it fiuts in well on the desk with the old type big montior they stick out and take up a lot of room on ur desk with flat screen it dont and the display is a lot better on flat screen monitor

I prefer to use a flat screen monitor. It won't hurt your eyes as much as a regular monitor does. Or, it will be better to use a LCD monitor if you use it for a long time.

Flat screens fit better into small spaces, but the screens can be damaged more easily if you touch or bump into it.

A BIG flat LCD monitor.
Why?
Because it's energy efficient and it occupies less space. It also look a lot cooler. You will be popular with chicks if you have one of those :)
