Yes a custom PC can save you money as you can choose exactly what you need!

I would reccomend visiting http://www.whatpcshop.co.uk there is a list of companies there for you to choose and mix and match prices!

Custom gaming Pc's are also a favourite!

Depends on how custom you want it, for the most part you can customize a Dell PC and they can be affordable, especially if you purchase some components elsewhere and install yourself.
