We have just bought a Blimpie franchise and are trying to get some new ideas and things in there to make it better...one thing I was thinking was a Wi-Fi hotspot...is there anyone else out there who has done this in a restuarant or cafe type place and can tell me how they did this and any good ideas they might have.

Recently underwent a hard reset as I was using too much memory on my Pocket PC.
I used to have activesync configured wirelessly and I would receive updates directly to my phone. I would prefer not to use the USB cable if possible. I have tried so far to establish a connection using both the cradle and wirelessly, both to no avail. This is what appears on the screen after I attempt to sync:
"Connected
Exchange Server: Attention Required"
then when I click on "Attention Required", I get the following message:
"The server could not be reached. Please verify the server name. Support Code:80072ee7"

Does this mean I have the wrong server name? How do I find out my server name?

PLEASE HELP!!! I am non-technical and nobody at the Sprint store has been any help whatsoever.

Thank you. John V

I was having a speed test done when I saw an advertisment for t1 and I saw that it was around a 100-200 dollars a month. How does it work? Why are the prices so high? How fast is it? Is it faster than Fios? I tried googling it but didnt get anything that i could understand.

I have a wireless NetGear router that went wrong the other day. Every 2 or 3 seconds, it cuts on, then off then on then off etc... it's like taking out the Internet cable from the router and putting it back in over and over. But the moment I put the Internet cable in the modem, the Internet is on and stays on, but that would mean that I would have to take the long distance phone cable out in place of the Internet cable, so now the long distance phone doesn't work. What is wrong with this router, and how do I fix it?

My desktop computer is in the kitchen and I try to use my laptop in the bedroom. In-between the kitchen and bedroom lies the laundry room and parts of the garage with lots of electric stuff! My laptop in the bedroom refuses to stay connected. Should I buy a new modem, and if so, what kind? My modem is connected to Verizon FIOS. Thanks.

I have a Linksys Wireless Router that connects directly to the desktop, I have a laptop that automatically picked up the wireless signal, now I want to encrypt my signal so no one else can use it besides my laptop.

I tired to set up a a network between these to computers and also could not do that. Keep telling that it couldn't be established and to try again in a different setting.

Any help at all would be greatly appreciated.

I'm on XP and so is my friend.
Here are the steps I took

i made ad hoc network according to Microsoft
i set my own TCP/IP, to 100.100.100.1
with a subnet mask of 255.255.255.0
my friend had the same subnet mask and the same ip ending in 2
i disabled my windows firewall.

he is able to connect but when i host something (a cs server for example) and he trys to connect to my ip. He gets no response from my computer

in his wireless settings he has received no packets

I have a wireless network at home. When I open my laptop (it's usually on standby) and it "fires" up it's taking a very long time for my IP addresses to renew. A lot of times they don't renew at all saying "limited or no connectivity". Then I have to take further action to repair.

Any hints or ways to have my IP addresses renew faster?

Well I am actually "borrowing" my neighbors wireless connection but regardless it goes from a great connection, to poor to disconnection. I am just curious why it would do this and if there is anything I can do on my end (aside from asking them to fix their router) to fix the problem.
