Everyone in the house can connect to the internet except for me. We use wireless connection. Someone has already told me that my MAC address has been blocked on the router by my parents or my brother and that's why I can't access the internet. Can someone tell me how I can login to the router and allow access? Thanks in advance!

PS. And where can I find the router password and username if it's even needed? I am new to this, so I don't know a lot about the wireless connections.

Hi there. at school every single gaming website is blocked. I was wondering if you could give me some webistes where you can bypass the firewall. I knowe some like Boredatchool.net and ctunnel, dtunnel and the rest of the tunnels. But they have also blocked nearly all the Firewall bypass websites. But have you got any unusual ones that might not be blocked?

Greetings!
I need help with connecting my computer to the internet using wireless connection. We have 4 computers and all of them have everything necessary for wireless connectin installed. Everything worked fine on all four computers, but my dad decided to disable my computer only from going on the internet somehow. Can anyone tell me how I can enable my computer to go on the internet. Everything is still installed, it just can't connect to the internet. Your help would be appreciated a lot! Thank You in advance!

installing "Netgear" DG834GT - ADSL Modem Router for Wireless broadband connection.
I followed the instructions to the letter and although it told me it was working, I couldn"t retrieve my "Home Page"

I spoke to an "Indian" gentleman at Netgear, but couldn"t understand a word he said.

Looks like I"ll have to pay someone to install it for me.

Thanks Netgear.

capability. I was tired of waiting to get on my computer because mine of course is the fastest, so the kids prefer it- dsl, 2 gig ram- anyway, I cancelled the dial-up service in my older sons room on his phone line, bought a US Robotics broadband router and networked my boys computers and mine to share the DSL connection- I am sure we won't lose any bandwidth, anyway after a couple days the kids computers continually stop recognizing they are networked and wont go on the internet. It takes tons of time to reconfigure. I am new to networking, it seems basic, however, could I be doing something wrong? I use the Win XP Pro network wizard and a disk I burned per choices the wizard gave me...any ideas or suggestions to prevent this reoccuring problem?

I have a computer that incorporates the ethernet circuitry on its MB. For some reason, the ethernet circuitry is fried. Doesn't work.

If I were to install a PCI ethernet card, what needs to be done to divert the signal from the MB circuitry to the PCI card?

I know this does not make sense...hence my question. The D-Link is powered over ethernet (PoE) and made to work outdoors. When the same ethernet cable is coiled and sitting in my office, everything works fine. When it is uncoiled and laid on the ground outdoors, it is not visible as an available network. I also cannot "discover" the unit via the hardwired connection when the problem occurs. I have tried plugging in the power adapter into different AC outlets and tried different ethernet cables, both shorter and longer and including the one that came with the unit. Tried with unit grounded and ungrounded. All works fine when it is coiled up on a desk...uncoiled...no dice. Thanks for any ideas.
