I was wondering is there a programme that I can install in both my laptop and pda so that I can get my files in my computer at home while I'm outside, for instance, in office or in a coffee house.

you can do this. set up yahoo id at home . set all da filess you want into a folder, on desktop. then from yahoo perferences. you set it for file transfer from that folder only . then you have other id from ur laptop outside go onto that yahoo id in home laptop as a friend. & you add home yahoo id to ur laptop yahoo id as frend. . then you set ur outside laptop yahoo id to receive da files .from ur yahoo perferences. then when ever you need a file you right hit on that yahoo id on ur friends list then hit on view shared files. a box will open . ur see all da files in there then you hit on da file you want it will download from ur home laptop .to ur laptop you have on .da outside
