I have high speed internet through my cable . There are no telephones involved. I will shut down my computer, watch and listen for it to shut down and the light goes out on my tower and my monitor goes blank only to return a few hours later and find that it has restarted. What gives?

It shows that it's still getting a strong signal and connection. It's transmitting but not recieving. It worked when I had IE6.

The other problem is I was trying to fix this but my router (Belkin) dosn't show up under wireless connections but it is working.

I have a few cables, I have tried them all and neither seems to be the correct cable. Please help! I am inputting music from my computer to my lap top, using my flash it is taking sooooo long to do that way. By the way a picture would help.

I bought a new iMac and attached it to my DSL modem in my ohme office and it works fine. Now I've moved my old computer to a back room. I have a spare DSL modem packed away somewhere. I wanted to know if it is possible to use both computers using different modems on the same phone line before I go looking for the spare. Thanks

Does anyone know of a good website with step by step directions for an easy way of changing the Domain name and pointing Windows to the old Profile so the User does not have to reclaim ownership of his documents and settings. I have been changing the domain and then just deleting the extension off of the new profile windows created and putting the extension on the old profile. Does anyone know if this will cause any problems down the road?
