No. Because in order to run such a program you'd need you laptop to be on first.

YES THERE IS!! (the other people just didn't think about it)

No offense, but.....LAZY!!!!

**NOTE: You will need your laptop cover open when nearing your scheduled turn-on. This works better for desktop computers.**

Here's how to do it:

>Open 'My Computer' or 'Internet Explorer'
>In the address bar, type 'C:\WINDOWS\Tasks' ~ assuming that your local disk with OS is "C".... if it isn't, make the appropriate change.
>Double-click 'Add Scheduled Task'
>Click 'next'
>Select one of these: [notepad, wordpad, calculator, solitaire, minesweeper, paint, or character map]
>Click 'next'
>Select 'daily'
>Change the time to 5 minutes before you need it ready
>Select 'every day'
>Choose your start date
>Click 'next'
>Enter password if applicable****
>Click 'next'
>Select the box that says "Open advanced properties for this task when I click finish"
>Click 'finish'
>Click the 'settings' tab at the top of the window
>Uncheck ALL the boxes EXCEPT the ones under the 'power management' section. Those three should be checked.
>Click 'apply'
>Click 'OK'

CONGRATULATIONS! YOU ARE OFFICIALLY LAZY!!!

If you are doing this because your computer takes a long time to load up, I suggest putting your computer into hibernation mode instead of shutting down. It will be much faster. Hibernation might not work so well if you have a wireless internet card....

****Password Bypass****
In order to ensure that your computer can start by itself, follow these instructions to bypass your password:

NOTE: Do not continue if people that you don't trust use your computer or have access to it frequently.

>Click 'start'
>Click 'run'
>Type 'control userpasswords2'
>Press 'enter'
>Uncheck the box that says 'Users must enter a user name and password to use this computer'
>Click 'apply'
>Enter your user name and password
>Click 'OK'
>Click the 'advanced' tab
>Uncheck the box that says 'Require users to press Ctrl+Alt+Del'
>Click 'apply'
>Click 'OK'

NOW, YOU'RE REALLY LAZY!!
-- but enjoy it anyway --

I HOPE THIS HELPS!

GOOD LUCK
