depends on what you mean by linked to your router.
if its a xp pro then right click on my copmuter. hit properties and go to remote tab. check the remote desktop, dont forget to forward port 3389 to that comptuer, you will want to make the ip of the computer static to do this.
you then can use remote desktop to log onto the computer from anywhere in the world.

use www.dyndns.org as well as a program called direct update so you dont have to keep memorizing your ip address whenever it changes

NO, that information resides on the local computer. Internet History is not a shared resource on a Network. If she is REALLY sophisticated, then she could install a free packet sniffer and then learn how to carefully, interpret the TCP packets to figure out their destination and which IP they are coming from. If she was extremely bored, nosy, and had no respect for privacy she COULD potentially sniff out where you are visiting. But I think it would be MORE likely that a Friend might use your laptop for a second and click into the address bar and see what you've typed into it OR view your history and THAT is more likely and more of an issue.

NO, but there are several ways to know which sites you've visited:
1) They can "hear" your workstation using special sw like LanAnalizer, LanGuard and Snort that can catch which site you visited;
2) The router can have a Log software that write a text file with all sites that you've ever visited before;
3) Hackers could install malwares into your computer and get all information they want to.
Regards.
