Has any one experienced Powerboost from Comcast? If so, whats your though on it? Unfortunately I'm currently unable to use Powerboost because my modem is running on docsis version 1.0 instead of 1.1 like its supposed to. If any one could help on how to make the modem work with docsis 1.1, please help.

i use windows xp , and yesterday i was manipulating something in the registry editor and ended up deleting the address of the sub-folders of a folder . i am quite sure i never deleted the contents of that folder and it was the ( foolish ) change in registry of the folder that made the folder become empty .

can any one help out by suggesting any method that can help me get those sub-folders back , any software recommendation or any sort of guidance that can do this .

i would like to add that the original folder is still there in my computer , just as an empty folder.....if that helps anything

i have windows XP home edition and everytime I rebuild my computer, i have this yellow shield in the lower right corner telling me that I have updates ready to install. I've done this many times and it causes all kinds of problems? I have a DELL DIMENSION 4700 and I also want to know if the computer I have is also the culprit?

I had just reprogrammed by windows 98 computer to a windows xp professional. I guess my computer is running really slow and doesn't have much ram for xp and I want to change it back to windows 98. But when I insert my Windows 98 system recovery disk and it says something about an FDISK program. I have no clue about this. This has never happened to me before. Help!

What the heck am I doing wrong? I have tried going to my calender clicking on new appointment and I tried using the Task pane. It STILL DOESN"T WORK!!! What am I doing wrong! Does anyone know of anything that I can protect my PIN numbers and passwords for my banking websites? I don't feel real comfortable writing them down on a piece of paper. I would like to keep these on my computer in a file that is secure and can't be hacked into. This will allow me to keep track of all my PIN's and online passwords.

I designed a website for my non-profit using MS Publisher...I know, it's a lame program for web design, but it's all I have and I have no budget yet.

The website looks and runs great on Internet Explorer. It looks like crap and only two links on the home page run using Firefox.

My web server support says everything looks fine on their end, the problem is with Firefox or Publisher. I know it's easy to blame Publisher, but after going on the Firefox support site, I see a FAQ "Why don't websites don't look right using Firefox?" Now I wonder if there is something on the Firefox side that is messed up.

Does anyone know what I can do with my meager software or ability to edit the code to help remedy the problem?

i have a geforce 7500 LE graphics card but i cant seem to run the graphics in high settings for some newer games
i have 2 gig of ram which is ok i guess

Due to computer problems and upgrading, about the only thing I need to build a second system is a case. This would be for mass storage, back up, etc. And doesn't have to be state of the art to set the world on fire.

The only thing I need is a case which a local computer store said usually runs about 12 bucks. Then the operating system. I run XP on my system but I don't think I can install that on a system system for more than 30 days. I can install Win98 or ME.

Is it true that when you buy the XP you can only put it on one computer you own? And, if the answer is yes, I've heard that Win98 is more stable than ME. I'm thinking just for basic use, mass storage, etc. Either 98 or ME would be acceptable. Comments? Suggestions?

I ran test on NVIDIA site to see if my pc was SLI capable, and it says it is (NodusM3-GL8E motherboard). However I only have 1 PCI-E x16 slot and 3 PCI slots, so is it possible to have SLI?

the router i have is BEFSR41 V3 linksys router. it has like a whole bunch of lights on there like wlan, lan, and some other stuff. when i go to the ip address 192.168.1.1 to configure its security, it doesn't look like the ones i find on the search engine, you know with the wep or wpa codes for wireless security tab. there is a security tab but it doesn't have wep or wpa. Can someone help?

its like black, and on the side is an emo looking couple in black and white, with pink and greeen hearts flashing up the side.
and the box thingys are like, pink.

i found it under emo love layouts i think...
