need help with my firewall settings, somebody blocked my computer from browsing youtube network.. i also can't download macromedia flash player version9..

so, i cant browse through Youtube or anyother video sites, or even if i can, i cant play the videos, coz my version of flash player is old. and it says that whenever i download the latest version of flash player, "You Do'nt have administrative Privileges"...how can i beat the admin password..?

hi iv just brought a 320 gb from maplin and im pritty disenpointed there nuthing wrong the device accept.
its not 320 GB its a total space 298 with free space at 296
what should i do any way its takeing so long to move all my files to the external device by USB/firewire.

Would the "AMD Athlon 64 X2" dual core processor be faster at file serving than a P4 2.8GHZ CPU? I'm just not sure when the 2nd processor would "kick in" with regard to file sharing/serving.

Does the server software affect speed as well, or does the software depend on the CPU speed?

I'll be using this server software: Abyss Web Server X1 (free version - see http://www.aprelium.com/abyssws/ ).

I'll spare you the gory details, but I had to rearrange my home office which now requires my printer to be 26 feet away from my PC. I haven't been able to find any 26 ft long USB cables. Hi I am planning to buy Sony VGN-CR12GH/B
laptop but confused about the processors. The said model is using processor Intel® Core™2 Duo Processor T7100(1.80 GHz)
Laptops are available with Pentium processors , so which one is better.

My work computer is a Dell Latitude D600. I have this laptop in a docking station with a regular keyboard, mouse, and monitor, but everytime I close the lid to the laptop, it goes into hybernate and I have to open it an log back in. Is there a way to prevent this?
