Hi I am planning to buy Sony VGN-CR12GH/B
laptop but confused about the processors. The said model is using processor Intel® Core™2 Duo Processor T7100(1.80 GHz)
Laptops are available with Pentium processors , so which one is better.
I want to use the laptop for .net programming & want to use it for oracle, Sql servers etc.
Dear friends please suggest me with best option soon as it is urgent.

There is no Pentium that is better than the T7100, definately go with it.

They are both very good. The Centrino Core 2 Duo is the newer version. I have a lap top with P4 and one with the newer Centrino Dual Core and do not see a difference in use.
