I search from Yahoo's actual website and it brings up their search page, only it looks way different from normal...but when i use their search from the bar on my web browser it brings up the old familiar page. Also other pages such as myspace have everything all flipped around. Dunno what's goin on, but its kind of annoying. any info would be great

I have been making legal backup copies of all my DVD's that I already own, and always use the same type of discs, with the same software, and the same of everything, even the place I buy my movies is the same place, nothing changes. All of a sudden, after a couple years of doing this, nothing seems to work anymore, I can't backup and of my discs, it runs the whole cycle and says it was succesfully copied, like it always does, but it shows a disc error in the dvd player. I have tried to update all my drivers and made sure all the software I use is also up to date. What could be going on? Am I missing something here? If anyone has had this happen, what did you do to solve the problem. Thank You.

I just got a new laptop with Windows Vista on it. I tried downloading itunes from the itunes website, the one for windows vista. It downloads, installs and says it is complete. The problem is it is no where on my computer. It does not even make a shortcut icon on my desktop. Why wont it work? How do I fix it? HELP!!!

I want to type in "2/2" and have it stay that way, but it automatically changes it to "2-Feb". I went to the "AutoCorrect Options" but it doesn't have a way to turn off the feature. Is there a way to stop it from assuming I want it changed?

I prepared dropdown menu with javascript. Below the dropdown menu I frame is there.Dropdown will come over the I frame (i.e. some conetent in fixed frame). Dropdown perfectly working in i.e. where as in firefox dropdown hides behind the I frame..please tell me how to clear this problem

but all they do is scan. once i want them to delete the bad things they find, it says that i have to pay to get the full version (which will then delete these). are there any free programs that will delete the spyware (or cookies or whatever) that it finds?

On msn, is it possible to appear offline to everyone except the people you want to talk to?
Like for instance, i usually only want to talk to my bf, no one else, and i dont want other people talking to me. My msn cuts out a lot so he doesnt like it when i appear offline, cause he doesnt know if i actually am or not. Is there a way?

My question is: Are there really no limitations? An HD DVD would hold aprox. 40 Gigs of data, considering that writing to a hard drive would only allow for 3 gigs per second (and that's at maximum speeds) how can you write more than 6 gigs in 2 seconds?

I just purchased 2 mushkin 512MB 184-Pin DDR SDRAM DDR 400 (PC 3200), for my pc,

I will start up with both modules and then freeze within about 15 minutes of running.

My Computer is a - Compaq Pavilion 506x Desktop/PC

If I only put one stick in it will work.
I have tried both sticks of memory separately and they both work
I also tried each stick in each slot on the mobo

Currently I have one stick of 512 and the old stick of 265 and it is working fine with no problems.

It only freezes when I have both Sticks of 512 in the mobo

the timing on both sticks are 3-3-3-8 ( im not sure if that matters)

I dont use system restore hardly at all.(only once i think) i dont have any viruses, just a lot of spyware/adware and maybe a worm from limewire.i kno it wont permanetly get rid of the infections but wat exactly will do to them? will my PC run faster? i just wanna use it mainly cause my limewire wont stop startin by itself. how much computer data in GB to do it and how many times can i use restore b4 it starts to do bad instead of good?

I have a .bin file saved on my desktop of Ubuntu and I need to make it so I can run it, the directions say to go to the directory the saved file is in using the terminal window....this is what my terminal window says now...

What command do I enter to move it to the desktop where my saved bin file is located?

Can someone help me here? I was on my 360 page,and all of a sudden,a box popped up and it said : stack overload : line 8.
