when I try to connect internet I see that net is connecetd, the icon of two computers is seen,and both of them glow, but when I try to open any web page the screen shows "this page can not be displayed, can not find server, DNS error". what may be the problem and how to troubleshoot?

On the cover it says it can support up to 512mb RAM, how do i enable this.?

Alright i just bought a new dvd burner that uses ide. I want to use an eide cable on it but ive notice some have a closed pin hole, like this:

I put my sd card from my camera into my laptop's 5 in 1 card reader. When I put it in, apparently i didn't put it in correctly, the wrong way, upside down, im not sure. I cant seem to get it out. Any ideas?

I have a Sapphire Radeon X800GTO 256mb GDDR3 AGP video card. When I'm playing World of Warcraft my video just dies after 30minutes and the monitor goes into stand by. My drivers are all up-to-date and I've tried both Omega and Catalyst and I've tried older drivers, nothing works. If I can get the task manager up really fast before the monitor sleeps then my computer acts like the video card drivers were uninstalled until I restart the computer. Windows XP says the source of the problem is ati2mag.sys . I'm not the greatest with this kind of stuff so I don't know how to fix it, though I built this computer. My CPU is an AMD Venice 3000+ (2.0GHz) Socket 754, Gigabyte K8NS motherboard, 2GB ddr400 memory, 650w psu. I'm not sure what could be causing this, it started about 3 weeks ago. Any help you guys can give would be greatly appreciated, thanks in advance.

My original sd ram was 256mb 133hz.
Initially i purchased a less frequency RAM(67Hz) than the one iam already having installed in my PC.When i installed it a serious error report was created which diagnosed that the error was mostly caused by RAM, to solve the error Windows recommended to upgrade my BIOS.Could u identify the reason of getting the PC hanged up in the middle when i have correctly installed the 256 mb 133Hz SD RAM?

I need to upgrade my 220W PSU with a 500+W PSU. I don't know the size or how to change it. I know what a MOBO is though and how they connect (those white things that just slip in the components?

Are the PSU wires colour coded / MOBO's coded?

We have a newer computer and my son has our old one. He has wireless Internet through our computer. My husband unplugs the whole unit from the wall every night because he says it saves on electricity but my son says that disconnecting the modems will burn up the motherboards. I have a 22in monitor and a 15 in. Ideally i'd like to run the 22in at 1680x1050 and the 15in at 1024x768. I want to be able to Photoshop, Flash etc. on the larger while having iTunes, Trillian, etc. on the smaller. Is there anything i can do to use these different size monitors at different resolutions at the same time?

This morning my internet was running at 6mbps and now it runs less than 1mbps. I have my computer plugged into my router via an ethernet cable. I restarted my router but the problem still persisted. (My isp is bellsouth, just so u know). Any suggestions would be great.

I have tried downloading it so many times and every time I try it doesnt work.
