Yep, ide is ide, doesnt matter if its hard drive or not.

All IDE cables are created equal, hence yes it will work. But since it is not an OEM there is a decent chance it will come with a cable, no guarantees but you might wait to find out before you buy one.

Most burners come with usb cord.Use it and dont worry about the ide.
