go to start run type msconfig click ok then the first page you see will say general tab. put a tick mark in noraml start up. click apply then it wants to reboot do so then. now your back in normal mode when it does reboot you'll get a screen asking if you want to change just ignore that. should sit about 3 seconds and finish booting.

First, unplug everything but the keyboard, mouse, video and power cords. If it boots normally one or more of the devices you had connected caused the problem.
If you still have a problem let it boot into Safe Mode. Then remove any software or drivers you installed before the problem started. If it boots normally you had a software/driver problem.
If it is Windows 2000 or better you should still be able to install a USB drive and copy your data from the drive. At least you will be safe it it turns out to be something more serious like a disk failure.

when you turn on the computer, it does a system check and if it finds something wrong (something added or removed or not working right) it will boot in safe mode. did you read any of the errors it gave? let it full boot on safe mode and let it go idle, then do a proper shutdown. the computer should remember any changes at next boot up and not come up in safe mode, if it does then do a system diagnostics

Right when you start it, press F4 I think. (IDK, it will say which one) and tell it to start in normal mode.
