Hi, I have dynamic IP address from DSL ISP and I installed the DDNS services, I can't remote connect my PC use Windows Remote desktop, then I installed FTP server, tested ok to access FTP server from LAN computers, but can't reach from the outside internet. I have configure Firewall for FTP and remote desktop pass through. I can't ping my IP address and the DDNS domain name from the outside computer, (Always time out) but computers inside the LAN ok to ping the DDNS domain name and resolve my dynamic IP address and acces to FTP server. How can I configure my FTP server and remote desktop can be reach from the outside world? please advise, Thanks a lot!

I want to use them to type in numbers, rather than the number keys above the qwerty letters (as I presently do). But the right hand number keys (underneath Num Lock) don't work.

I have a 50ft (supposedly high quality, 24AWG, triple shielded--whatever that means) DVI-D cable which weaves through walls, across other various power/computer/audio cables, through the attic, and into a kitchen. It's quite a journey. The highest resolution I can see on my LCD Monitor in the kitchen is 1024x768, and even then, there are occasional sparkles. I realize that DVI cables are not intended for these lengths, but don't really have any other choice. I bought a Gefen DVI Booster, which doesn't help. Would it help to attempt to shield the cable by keeping it away from other power/etc. cables. Or maybe wrapping foil or cloth, or something around it?

I used the Windows Vista Anytime Upgrade thinking it was a preview to easily be removed from my computer at a later date. Turns out it isn't, and now after 30 days Windows shut down, so my computer can't do anything. It wants me to go online and buy a product key or enter a valid one, which I obviously don't have. I can give more information, just ask. Thank you so much for your help.

Put in new fan but it is still not running. Have been informed that computer will overheat if kept in use with out fan running.

What could be the problem?

System boots perfectly with no errors.
Have a Dell Dimension 4300 (desktop).
Did a test to check hardware on computer--no alerts or errors.

Note: I don't hear the power supply fan running either but someone said that if this fan went out, nothing on the computer would not be able to work or even power on.
