I've had dsl for a few years now and i was wondering if wirless is included in this kind of isp?

all i know is there is no modem and it all connects from the wall, then into my netgear hub to connect to the 3 pc's in the house.

I beleive you have not looked deep enough.

There has to be a modem and router somewhere. The router connects its WAN port to the modem internet feed. The router LAN port feeds into your Netgear hub (or switch whichever it actually is). It is also possible that Bellsouth uses an integrated modem and router as one unit.

Anyway, the easiest way for you to proceed to give yourself wireless ability is to buy either a Wireless Access Point or Wireless router (either will work). Plug the Wireless Access Point into the netgear hub or switch or plug the WAN port of the wireless router into the hub or switch.

Be sure to turn off DHCP on the LAN side of the wireless router and use DHCP from the original modem. Configure wireless as directed and then configure wireless devices per wireless device configuration. Always use a wired connection to configure a wireless router or a wireless access point. Invoke all the security possible as this keeps freeloaders and hackers out.
