I have a sony laptop but I want to buy a desktop to do stuff with 3ds Max , AutoCAD, Adobe Software but I don't want it to be slow.

What are the specs I should pay the most attention to when buying a new computer? If you know please give me a brief description of how these specs would help me.

Hi, when I am writing an email and want to send pics of my grands and I have like 10 folders of them, when I click on attach it only brings up some, not all, where did they go and how do I get to them so I can access them for attach easily, I guess I create a Main Grands folder and cut and drop the other folders into it but where do they go and how do I retrieve them ??? gmail, hotmail. yahoo mail etc

I don't have Bit torrent and I don't want it (To Many Viruses,) So I heard that Pirate Bay was going to start a Youtube like service, I went to there sight and I coulden't find it.

Is it embedded flash like youtube, or do I need to download a special player for it.

I do not use nor condone Bit Torrent.

I put the ethernet cord into the ethernet slot on my modem to use the net on my laptop which ihave been doing for the last few days. Now, when i try to unplug it , it wont come out!. Its stuck....Any ideas how i can remove it without damaging anything?

I have a Acer Aspire 5100-3357 with an AMD Turion 64 2.0 ghz ati radeon xpress 1100 120gb and 1.5gb of ram. I have Counter Strike Source set to the recomennded settings for my system 1280x800 and for the video stress test i get like 10fps. I was wondering if i put the max amount of ram (4gb) what would the fps be or how would it improve

It's where the camera seems like it's on speed. That probably makes sense to no one, but it skips on a little fast and jerky... kind of in a freaky way. I have no way to describe it correctly, so I'll try to find a music video as an example. Thanks.

i have 1 hard drive with windows already installed, and i just added 2 extra hard drives, which are the same, so i can store movies, music,documents,etc on them. But i dont see it under my computer.When i go to device manager, it shows both drives, how do i see, or use these drives?

I scan my PC with Norton everyday at the end of the day, and every time I find a cookie (It says "tracking cookie") which Norton deletes. But the next day when I run the scan again I find that its back there! (I assume its the same one)
Is there a way to prevent it from getting in my PC?

I keep getting a stop error everytime I attempt to play video, and it tells me to uninstall any new software or hardware and turn off bios shadowing. I dont know how to turn off bios cach shadowing, or why I keep getting the stop error.

Help?
